Italy | June 2025
If you follow me on instagram, you already know that I took a lot of photos in Italy this summer and won’t shut up about it. And if there’s anywhere on the internet that encourages waxing poetic, it’s a blog. So welcome. I hope you like commas.

This trip was a big deal for a few reasons. One, any international trip is a big deal to me. In my teens and twenties I loved to travel and experience new places. As I got older, that got harder and harder. A fear of flying started to take root and grow. By the time the pandemic hit in 2020, my love of travel had been almost completely strangled and my fear had turned into a full blow phobia. My partner and I even planed a trip to Italy in 2023 and I couldn’t get myself to get on the plane and go. I had kind of resigned myself to the fact that I wouldn’t go anywhere I couldn’t drive for the rest of my life.
I am a curious person by nature.
